Tell me more about it?
If you’re looking for a Mini event that’s a bit different and fancy driving your Mini to the deserts of Morocco then this event is for you. It is a new event for 2006 and likely to start in France or Spain (or both) depending on how many people sign up.
You will be provided with a road book at the start of the event and will cover a total of 12 stages through a mix of spectacular scenery, beautiful medians and changeling terrain getting some time to soak up the local atmosphere along the way. The locals will soon notice you, as a convey of Minis in North Africa will no doubt turn a few heads.
Organiser Sébastien Damay said it is: “A rally to discover a country,” and an “adventure filled with laughs great feelings and friendship.”
Why should I go?
If you’re trying to decide whether this is for you then the words of Thierry Sabine from the Dyna Mythe Mini Club should help make your mind up. He said: “It is an adventure that has to be shared by many people and dreamed of by those who couldn’t come.”
Sounds like a good enough reason to me…

How many places are there?
Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. But due to the extreme nature of the event it is unlikely they will fill up quickly.
How much will it cost?
The estimated budget for fuel, tolls, ferry and accommodation for one Mini with two occupants is around £1012.
